مع اقتراب بداية شهر أبريل (نيسان)، الموعد الذي حدده السودانيون لبداية انتقال السلطة من العسكريين إلى المدنيين، أعلنت لجنة «صياغة الاتفاق» تسليم مسودة «الاتفاق النهائي» للأطراف، فيما تسارعت خطى «مؤتمر إصلاح الأجهزة العسكرية والأمنية» في الخرطوم.
وقالت نشرة صادرة عن مجلس السيادة الانتقالي إن اجتماعاً عُقد بالقصر الرئاسي بين العسكريين والموقّعين على الاتفاق الإطاري، بحضور كل من رئيس مجلس السيادة عبد الفتاح البرهان، ونائبه محمد حمدان دقلو (حميدتي)، والآلية الدولية الثلاثية، سلمت خلاله مسودة الاتفاق النهائي لأطراف العملية، بمن فيهم القائد العام للجيش، وقائد قوات الدعم السريع.
ونقل الإعلام السيادي عن الناطق باسم العملية السياسية، خالد عمر يوسف، أن الاجتماع سلم رسمياً المسودة الأولية للاتفاق النهائي، وتتكون من ستة أجزاء تشمل الاتفاق السياسي النهائي، وخمسة بروتوكولات تم الاتفاق على مناقشتها بصورة أوسع، وأن الأطراف اتفقت على إكمال المسودة النهائية يوم الخميس، للإيفاء بالتوقيتات المتفق عليها لتوقيع الاتفاق النهائي.
وعلمت «الشرق الأوسط» أن الجلسات المغلقة التي عقدت أمس (الاثنين)، بحثت «آليات إصلاح جهازي الشرطة والمخابرات العامة».
ونصت «مسودة الاتفاق النهائي» التي حصلت «الشرق الأوسط» على نسخة منها أمس، على إجراء إصلاح أمني وعسكري، يقود لجيش مهني قومي موحد، ينأى عن السياسة، ويحمي الحدود والحكم المدني الديمقراطي، وحددت الأجهزة النظامية بالقوات المسلحة، وقوات الدعم السريع وقوات الشرطة، وجهاز المخابرات العامة.
وحددت الوثيقة هياكل الحكم الانتقالي في المجلس التشريعي الانتقالي، والمستوى السيادي الانتقالي، ومجلس الوزراء الانتقالي، والأقاليم والولايات، والمستوى المحلي، وتكوين رئيس دولة سيادي بصلاحيات سيادية، من بينها منصب القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة، ورئيس وزراء بصلاحيات واسعة يترأس «مجلس الأمن والدفاع».

كشفت شركة «لينوفو» خلال مؤتمر «ليب 2026» المنعقد في الرياض عن أول حاسوب محمول لها يتم تصنيعه في المملكة العربية السعودية، في خطوة تمثل بداية انتقال شراكتها مع شركة «آلات» من مرحلة الاستثمار، وبناء القدرات، إلى الإنتاج الفعلي للأجهزة التقنية داخل المملكة.

وقالت الشركة إن الجهاز جرى إنتاجه في الرياض، ويعد من أوائل المنتجات التي تخرج من منشأتها التصنيعية الجديدة في المملكة، فيما من المقرر أن يبدأ الإنتاج الكمي لعدد من المنتجات في أواخر عام 2026. ويأتي الإعلان بعد نحو عام ونصف من بدء «لينوفو» و«آلات» العمل على إنشاء قاعدة صناعية جديدة في الرياض، ضمن استراتيجية تهدف إلى إدخال المملكة بشكل أوسع في شبكة التصنيع، وسلاسل الإمداد العالمية لقطاع التقنية.

من الحواسيب إلى الهواتف والخوادم

لا تقتصر خطط منشأة الرياض على إنتاج الحواسيب المحمولة، إذ تقول «لينوفو» إن المصنع سيكون أول منشأة لها على مستوى العالم قادرة على إنتاج محفظتها الكاملة من الأجهزة، بما يشمل الحواسيب المحمولة، والمكتبية، وهواتف «موتورولا» الذكية، إلى جانب الخوادم.

ويمثل ذلك توسعاً في شبكة التصنيع العالمية للشركة التي تضم أكثر من 30 موقعاً إنتاجياً في 11 دولة، مع سعيها إلى جعل الرياض نقطة أقرب لخدمة أسواق الشرق الأوسط، وأفريقيا، وتقليص المسافة بين عمليات التصنيع والأسواق الإقليمية.

وتقام المنشأة على مساحة تبلغ نحو 200 ألف متر مربع في المنطقة اللوجستية المتكاملة الخاصة في الرياض، بالقرب من مطار الملك خالد الدولي. وكانت الشركتان قد بدأتا أعمال المشروع في فبراير (شباط) 2025، بعد إتمام استثمار بقيمة ملياري دولار من «آلات» في «لينوفو» عبر سندات قابلة للتحويل دون فوائد لمدة ثلاث سنوات.

وتتوقع الشراكة بين الجانبين أن تسهم خطط التوسع في توفير ما يصل إلى 15 ألف وظيفة مباشرة، و45 ألف وظيفة غير مباشرة، مع تطوير قدرات محلية في مجالات التصنيع، والهندسة، والتقنيات المتقدمة.

نقل المعرفة إلى الكفاءات السعودية

يتجاوز المشروع إنشاء خطوط إنتاج محلية إلى بناء خبرات هندسية مرتبطة بعمليات التصنيع، والبحث، والتطوير. وأعلنت «لينوفو» أن أول مجموعة من المهندسين السعوديين أكملت تدريباً متخصصاً داخل منشآت التصنيع العالمية التابعة لها، وذلك في إطار تعاون يشمل «آلات»، وصندوق تنمية الموارد البشرية، ووزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية.

كما وسعت الشركة وجودها المؤسسي في المملكة عبر مقرها الإقليمي لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وتركيا وأفريقيا في الرياض، إلى جانب تطوير خطط للبحث والتطوير محلياً.

وقال طارق العنقري، نائب الرئيس الأول ورئيس «لينوفو» في الشرق الأوسط وتركيا وأفريقيا، إن الكشف عن أول حاسوب محمول يتم تصنيعه في المملكة يمثل نتيجة ملموسة للطموحات التي أعلنتها الشركة مع «آلات» خلال «ليب» العام الماضي، مشيراً إلى أن السعودية ستؤدي دوراً متزايداً في شبكة «لينوفو» العالمية للتصنيع، والابتكار، وسلاسل الإمداد.

مرحلة جديدة للتصنيع التقني

من جهته، ذكر الدكتور محمد الداود، الرئيس التنفيذي المكلف لشركة «آلات»، أن الوصول إلى هذه المرحلة يعكس ما يمكن أن تحققه الشراكات طويلة الأمد في بناء قدرات التصنيع المتقدم، ونقل المهارات إلى المملكة. ويأتي المشروع ضمن توجه أوسع في السعودية لزيادة مساهمة التصنيع المتقدم والتقنيات الرقمية في الاقتصاد، وتحويل جزء من الطلب المحلي والإقليمي الكبير على الأجهزة والبنية التحتية التقنية إلى نشاط صناعي داخل المملكة. وسيكون بدء الإنتاج الكمي في أواخر 2026 اختباراً للمرحلة التالية من الشراكة، مع انتقال المصنع تدريجياً من أول جهاز يحمل صفة التصنيع المحلي إلى إنتاج مجموعة أوسع من الحواسيب، والهواتف، والخوادم، وربط المنشأة السعودية بصورة أكبر بشبكة «لينوفو» العالمية للإنتاج، والتوزيع.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and HUMAIN signed a partnership agreement to strengthen collaboration on the development and enablement of AI infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, explore partnership and investment opportunities, and develop specialized studies and solutions, supporting the growth of the AI sector and enhancing the Kingdom’s readiness to scale AI applications. 

Head of the Cloud Computing and AI Enablement Office Eng. Bassam Albassam signed the agreement on behalf of MCIT, while HUMAIN CEO Eng. Tareq Amin represented the company. 

The agreement focuses on exploring opportunities to establish strategic partnerships in the AI infrastructure sector and strengthening coordination among relevant stakeholders. This will support the development of the sector’s regulatory and operational environment, help attract local and international investment, and contribute to achieving national objectives in AI and the digital economy. 

The two parties will also collaborate on preparing and developing specialized studies and solutions for AI infrastructure, exchanging technical expertise and knowledge, and developing innovative solutions that address the requirements of government entities and align with national standards. These efforts will enhance infrastructure efficiency and support the growth of the Kingdom’s AI ecosystem. 

Areas of collaboration include supporting the development of AI data centers by strengthening coordination and integration with relevant government entities to facilitate the enablement and expansion of infrastructure projects. The two parties will also collaborate on knowledge transfer and national capability building in coordination with the HUMAIN Academy. 

The agreement builds on national efforts to develop advanced AI infrastructure, enable strategic investment in the sector, develop specialized national capabilities, and advance innovative technology solutions. These efforts will further strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a leading global hub for AI and support the continued growth of the digital economy. 

Adobe partnership 

Adobe announced at LEAP 2026 the expansion of its partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and HUMAIN, a Public Investment Fund company, to support the growth of Saudi Arabia's creative sector. 

Adobe's commitment to the partnership exceeds $4 billion. The company plans to offer more than 27 million eligible Saudi citizens and residents aged 13 and above 12 months of free access to Adobe Firefly Standard and Adobe Express Premium features by the end of 2026. 

The partnership includes the development of an image generation model jointly designed by HUMAIN and Adobe. It is the first image generation model developed with Adobe Firefly Foundry and tuned to Saudi culture. The model will enable individuals, organizations, and creative teams to produce high-quality images reflecting Saudi culture using Arabic-language prompts. 

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha affirmed that the partnership with Adobe and HUMAIN reflects the Kingdom's commitment to empowering talent, accelerating the growth of the creative economy, and expanding the benefits of artificial intelligence (AI) for innovators, creators, and entrepreneurs. 

Adobe Chairman and CEO Shantanu Narayen explained that the partnership combines the company's creative tools with Firefly Foundry's image and video models, tuned to Saudi culture, the ministry's local expertise, and HUMAIN's understanding of the cultural context. He said the partnership will help accelerate the growth of the Kingdom's creative economy and expand creative opportunities for all segments of society. 

Adobe Firefly, the integrated AI-powered creative studio, is among the solutions the company provides to support creativity and productivity. It combines AI models, professional editing tools, and AI agent capabilities, covering all stages of the creative process, from idea generation and visualization to creating, editing, and producing images, video, audio, and design assets.

Microsoft announced on first day of LEAP 2026 on Monday that its new cloud datacenter region in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia East, will be available to customers in November.

The region will enable government entities and private-sector organizations to run cloud workloads and AI applications locally, strengthening their capacity for innovation and growth in the smart era.

Located in Eastern Region, the new datacenter region comprises three availability zones for the Microsoft Azure platform. It will allow customers to host data locally in Saudi Arabia, while providing advanced levels of security, resilience, and business continuity, as well as low-latency access to cloud and AI services.

The launch marks a new phase in Microsoft’s long-term investment in Saudi Arabia and provides a local digital foundation to support organizations in moving from AI experimentation to large-scale deployment and operations. It will also enhance their readiness to develop innovative services and products aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The local cloud infrastructure is expected to create broader opportunities for Saudi organizations to host and operate more digital systems and applications within the Kingdom, while expanding the use of AI in sectors requiring high levels of data security, governance, resilience, and responsiveness.

These investments collectively provide advanced local infrastructure, strengthen security and governance, develop national capabilities, and support solutions tailored to market needs. This will enable organizations to build and scale AI applications from within the Kingdom and support Saudi Vision 2030 goals of achieving economic diversification and innovation, and establishing the Kingdom as a global technology and AI hub.
