تطورات تعليمية تستفتح العام الدراسي الجديد في السعودية

تفتتح وزارة التعليم السعودية العام الدراسي الجديد بتغيرات استراتيجية تسهم في تحقيق «رؤية 2030» المستقبلية، حيث تستقبل المنشآت التعليمية منسوبيها غداً (الأحد)، وسط تغيرات نوعية مختلفة تستكمل سابقتها من القرارات التي تمثلت في إنشاء نظام المسارات للصفوف الثانوية، واعتماد ثلاثة فصول في السنة الدراسية مع الإجازات الأسبوعية المطولة.
ومن أبرز التغيرات التي أقرتها وزارة التعليم السعودية للعام الدراسي الجديد، اعتماد آلية إسناد تدريس المواد الجديدة في ‫نظام المسارات بالمرحلة الثانوية لذوي التخصص، حيث تعد المناهج التعليمية للمرحلة الثانوية متخصصة نسبياً. ‬‬
ويتيح نظام الإسناد تعيين مدرسين متخصصين في عدة مجالات، ما يسهم في استثمار القدرات الشابة حديثة التخرج من تخصصات متنوعة ومختلفة، ويخلق النظام فرص عمل نوعية في سوق العمل السعودية.
وبداية من العام الدراسي الجديد تقرر انتهاء الدراسة بنظام المقررات رسمياً، واعتماد نظام المسارات للمرحلة الثانوية، حيث يعزز نظام المسارات البدائل والفرص أمام الطلاب والطالبات، ويتيح المجال لاختيار مسار يتناسب مع الميول والقدرات والطموحات.
وتتمثل مسارات الثانوية العامة في «المسار العام» و«مسار علوم الحاسب والهندسة» و«مسار الصحة والحياة» و«مسار إدارة الأعمال»، وهي مسارات متخصصة من الممكن أن تساعد في خلق فرص عمل تستهدف خريجي الثانوية العامة، حيث إن التوجيه المبكر يساهم في تعزيز وتنمية القدرات المهنية واكتشافها.
ومن ناحية تطوير المناهج التعليمية، تقرر تدريس مادة «المعرفة المالية» لطلاب وطالبات المرحلة الثانوية ‫بنظام المسارات بداية من العام الدراسي الجديد. ‬‬
وتشهد المناهج التعليمية تطوراً لافتاً في السنوات الأخيرة، حيث تم تطوير محتواها لتتواكب مع التطورات في الأمور الحياتية الملموسة في المجتمع السعودي، وتناقل العديد من مستخدمي مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي أبرز محتويات المناهج التعليمية للسنة الحالية، وسط نقاشات ثقافية واجتماعية عديدة.
وكان لمادة «الفنون» للمرحلة الثانوية النصيب الأكبر في التناقل عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي لذكرها بعض عناوين الأفلام السعودية وتفاصيل التراث الشعبي في مناطق المملكة والعديد من التفاصيل التي كانت تفتقر لها المناهج السابقة.
وكانت المناهج التعليمية في السعودية بمفهومها القديم تركز على المعلومات والحقائق مما أدى إلى إهمال الجوانب العقلية والنفسية والجسدية، وبين مصادر ومتغيرات رقمية يعيشها الأجيال اليوم باتت مصادر التعليم بمفهومها القديم لا تشبع متطلبات المتلقين.
وكشفت وسائل إعلام محلية أن وزارة التعليم السعودية مكنت أبناء الفئات الموجودة في السعودية بشكل غير نظامي من التعليم للعام الدراسي الجديد، وألزمت المدارس تزويد أولياء أمور الطلاب المقيمين بشكل غير نظامي باستمارات القبول وتوجيههم لمراجعة إمارات المناطق التي يقيمون فيها لاستكمال الإجراءات اللازمة.

أظهر بحث جديد أن مدى جودة مدرستك الثانوية قد يؤثر على مستوى مهاراتك المعرفية في وقت لاحق في الحياة. وجدت دراسة أجريت على أكثر من 2200 من البالغين الأميركيين الذين التحقوا بالمدرسة الثانوية في الستينات أن أولئك الذين ذهبوا إلى مدارس عالية الجودة يتمتعون بوظيفة إدراكية أفضل بعد 60 عاماً، وفقاً لشبكة «سكاي نيوز». وجد الباحثون أن الالتحاق بمدرسة مع المزيد من المعلمين الحاصلين على تدريب مهني كان أوضح مؤشر على الإدراك اللاحق للحياة. كانت جودة المدرسة مهمة بشكل خاص للمهارات اللغوية في وقت لاحق من الحياة. استخدم البحث دراسة استقصائية أجريت عام 1960 لطلاب المدارس الثانوية في جميع أنحاء الولايات المتحدة

نفت الحكومة المصرية، أمس السبت، عزمها «إلغاء مجانية التعليم الجامعي»، مؤكدة التزامها بتطوير قطاع التعليم العالي. وتواترت أنباء خلال الساعات الماضية حول نية الحكومة المصرية «إلغاء مجانية التعليم في الجامعات الحكومية»، وأكد مجلس الوزراء المصري، في إفادة رسمية، أنه «لا مساس» بمجانية التعليم بكل الجامعات المصرية، باعتباره «حقاً يكفله الدستور والقانون لكل المصريين».

«تشات جي بي تي»... خصم وصديق للتعليم والبحث

هل يدعم «تشات جي بي تي» التعليم أم يهدده؟

رغم ما يتمتع به «تشات جي بي تي» من إمكانيات تمكنه من جمع المعلومات من مصادر مختلفة، بسرعة كبيرة، توفر وقتاً ومجهوداً للباحث، وتمنحه أرضية معلوماتية يستطيع أن ينطلق منها لإنجاز عمله، فإن للتقنية سلبيات كونها قد تدفع آخرين للاستسهال، وربما الاعتماد عليها بشكل كامل في إنتاج موادهم البحثية، محولين «تشات جي بي تي» إلى أداة لـ«الغش» العلمي.

بن عيسى يشدد على أهمية التعليم لتركيز قيم التعايش

اعتبر محمد بن عيسى، الأمين العام لمؤسسة منتدى أصيلة، ووزير الخارجية المغربي الأسبق، أن مسألة التعايش والتسامح ليست مطروحة على العرب والمسلمين في علاقتهم بالأعراق والثقافات الأخرى فحسب، بل أصبحت مطروحة حتى في علاقتهم بعضهم ببعض. وقال بن عيسى في كلمة أمام الدورة الحادية عشرة لمنتدى الفكر والثقافة العربية، الذي نُظم أمس (الخميس) في أبوظبي، إن «مسألة التعايش والتسامح باتت مطروحة علينا أيضاً على مستوى بيتنا الداخلي، وكياناتنا القطرية، أي في علاقتنا ببعضنا، نحن العرب والمسلمين».

Two people died and hundreds of weekend bathers were hurriedly evacuated Sunday after two fires broke out on the Greek island of Salamis near Athens in less than half an hour, the fire department said.

While another fire on the Aegean island of Skyros was brought under control, a fire department spokesman told AFP that "two bodies were recovered" from the Peristeria beach area in the south of Salamis.

"Over 570 people were evacuated on coast guard patrol boats and other vessels," a coastguard spokeswoman told AFP.

Fire department communications director Vassilis Vathrakogiannis said the separate fires had broken out in Peristeria and near Selinia, two popular beaches in the island's south and east, within 20 minutes of each other.

With hundreds enjoying a sunny Sunday at the beach a short boat ride from Athens, the civil protection ministry issued four evacuation orders in quick succession.

The Greek blazes come as Europe battles a succession of wildfires breaking out in tinderbox-like conditions, driven by widespread droughts and high temperatures that scientists have linked to climate change.

- 'Spread in seven minutes' -

But two people, reportedly an elderly couple, died before firefighters could get to them, Vathrakogiannis said in a televised address.

With the wind reaching up to 61 kilometers (38 miles) per hour, the fire "spread rapidly in seven minutes", he said.

Nine people required medical care for burns, state agency ANA said.

Greek TV stations showed footage of several homes gutted by the flames.

Salamis, just west of Athens, has some 37,000 residents, many of them elderly, and the beaches were full of people on Sunday, including day travelers, officials said.

Battling through rocky terrain, firefighters managed to keep the blaze in Selinia from scaling a mountain and linking up with the other fire, Salamis's deputy mayor Thodoris Zannis told the ERT TV station.

A fire department spokesman told AFP that the Selinia blaze had been put out by the evening, while scattered pockets of fire remained at Peristeria.

The fire service mobilized a large force of some 260 firefighters, nearly 60 engines, 10 aircraft and seven helicopters, rushing in reinforcements from the mainland.

- Skyros blaze contained -

After largely escaping the heatwave temperatures that blanketed much of Europe earlier this summer, Greece has been hit with several major wildfires since late July, fueled by unusually strong winds.

Firefighters had largely contained a blaze on the island of Skyros earlier, an AFP reporter said.

A local forestry official said the fire, which started Saturday, had burned some 1,300 hectares of forest.

The same northwestern part of the island had been struck by fires in 2008 and 2014.

Thirty-six blazes have broken out over the past 24 hours around the country, according to the fire department.

Five firefighters have died so far, including a Danish pilot killed in a mid-air collision between two helicopters while battling a blaze near Athens earlier this month.

Winds were expected to ease later Sunday. According to the civil protection ministry, no area will be above 3 out of 5 on the national fire risk scale on Monday for the first time in 10 days.

Greece is hit by wildfires every year.

Experts say the risk is growing because of human-fueled climate change, which has made droughts and other extreme weather events more severe, frequent and longer-lasting.

Online fast-fashion retailer Shein is eyeing a company valuation of around $25 billion in its Hong Kong IPO, said three people with knowledge of the matter, down from nearly $100 billion four years ago due to challenging business conditions.

Singapore-headquartered Shein, known for selling $5 ⁠dresses and $10 jeans to ⁠shoppers in about 160 countries, is aiming to launch its much-awaited initial public offering later this week, Reuters has reported.

One of ⁠the three sources said that the company, which was founded in China in 2012, was looking at a valuation of between $25 billion and $28 billion based on the marketing price band for the offering.

The sources declined to be ⁠named ⁠as they were not authorized to speak to the media ahead of a public announcement of the deal terms. A spokesperson for Shein did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

Ukrainian Missile Strikes Kill 6 in Russia’s Belgorod

Ukrainian missile strikes killed six people and wounded four others, including a child, in Russia's Belgorod region, the acting governor said Monday.

With frontline fighting at a near standstill and talks frozen, the warring countries have significantly stepped up missile attacks, pushing the civilian death toll to its highest levels since the war's first months in 2022.

"Ukrainian terrorists attacked the village of Koloskovo, Valuysky district, with missiles," Belgorod acting governor Alexander Shuvaev said on the state-backed MAX platform. Koloskovo is about 15 kilometers (10 miles) from the Ukraine border.

The attack, which Shuvaev said burned a "structure" and damaged a vehicle, came a day after Russia and Ukraine carried out missile and drone strikes deep inside each other's territory that killed 19 people on both sides.

Moscow has carried out near-daily missile and drone strikes across Ukraine since launching its full-scale invasion in early 2022.

It has recently intensified attacks using hard-to-intercept ballistic missiles, exploiting Ukraine's air-defense shortages after the US-Israeli war against Iran diverted supplies.

Ukraine has increasingly targeted warehouses belonging to Russia's biggest online retailer Wildberries, saying the company supplies components for Russian drones.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says those strikes, along with attacks on oil refineries, are aimed at undermining Russia's war economy.

In July alone, 437 civilians were killed in Ukraine, the highest monthly toll since May 2022, according to a United Nations tally.

Russian authorities have reported 79 civilians killed on their side in July, up from the previous month.
