Saudi Arabia Announces 1st Coronavirus Death
Saudi Arabia reported on Tuesday its first casualty from the new coronavirus in a 51-year-old Afghan resident.
Health Ministry spokesman Mohammed Abdelali told a press briefing that the man's health deteriorated quickly after reporting to a hospital emergency room in the city of Madinah and he died on Monday night.
The health ministry reported 205 new virus cases, bringing to the Kingdom’s total to 676.
Saudi Arabia had on Monday imposed a nighttime 21-day curfew.
Violators will be fined 10,000 riyals and it will be doubled for repeat offenders.
