Saudi King Receives New GCC Chief
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received in Riyadh on Monday new Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Nayef al-Hajraf, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
He received him in the Saudi capital to congratulate him on assuming his new position, wishing him success in his duties to bolster joint Gulf work.
Hajraf thanked King Salman for his support, stressing his keenness on exerting all possible efforts to boost and develop cooperation between Arab Gulf states and meet their aspirations.
Discussions between the two officials also tackled a number of Gulf affairs.
The meeting was attended by Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz and Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah.
