Iranian armed forces chief of staff, Major General Mohammad Baqeri received in Tehran on Monday his Pakistani counterpart Lieutenant General Qamar Javed.
Discussions focused on bilateral defense, military and security cooperation, reported the German news agency.
They also tackled the latest regional developments and joint efforts to bolster cooperation to preserve sustainable security and stability and secure their common border.
They addressed countering terrorist groups and preventing their infiltration across their borders.
