Jordanian King, Norway PM Discuss Efforts to Combat Terrorism

Jordan's King Abdullah received Prime Minister of Norway Erna Solberg at Al Husseiniya Palace on Sunday for a meeting on bilateral relations and the latest regional developments.

During the meeting, they expressed keenness to expand cooperation between the two countries, as well as maintaining coordination on issues of mutual concern.

The meeting also covered regional developments and efforts to reach political solutions to regional crises, in addition to regional and international efforts to fight terrorism.

Also, King Abdullah received the Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit and the two discussed the latest Arab and regional developments.

The King stressed the importance of coordinating and unifying Arab positions and emphasizing the role of the Arab League in maintaining Arab coordination on regional issues, especially the Palestinian cause.

Also, King Abdullah received the 2019 Arab Development Work Shield presented by the Arab League, in recognition of his efforts in advancing development in Jordan and his support for Arab causes.
