Palestinian Prime Minister-designate Mohammad Shtayyeh said that he would handle the current financial crisis, pledging to put a government plan for this purpose.

Shtayyeh said that he was aware of the tough political and economic conditions amid the financial war waged by the US and Israel for the sake of pressuring the Palestinian authority to accept a political path that could not be accepted under any form.

The title of this war is blackmail, he added, but we will not accept that.

"We are able to be patient to get out of this bottleneck, just like the way we defeated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the Jerusalem Gates," Shtayyeh affirmed.

He stressed that the authority has returned Israel all funds of taxation revenues after it deducted part of them, which left the authority in a serious crisis. He added that it is not about the amount of money but the fact that Israel has no right to deduct any.

Further, Palestinian Finance Minister Shokri Bshara met Jordan's central bank governor, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit, and Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki.

Maliki underscored the necessity of implementing decisions of previous Arab summits and ministerial meetings to activate the Arab financial safety net.

He also called for extensive communication with Jordan, Morocco, Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and other states in the coming period in order to take a stance on Israel's aggression on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
