Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi is in good health and is undergoing regular tests in resumption to September tests, said Director General of the Presidential Office Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, denying rumors echoing about Hadi’s health deterioration.

Hadi directed to spare civilians the dangers of confrontations in the battle of Hodeidah, added Alimi in a statement published on Saba News, noting that the Yemeni president considers the Yemenis’ battle to liberate Hodeidah inevitable whether in war or peace.

The president is following up with all efforts exerted to hold a serious round of peace talks, continued Alimi, quoting the president as saying that the Yemeni people are urged to take the road towards their goals represented in building a federal, stable and secure Yemen.

Alimi pointed out that the rumors originated from Houthis, and that the world got used to the Houthi militia fabrications whenever the liberation of the city of Hodeidah became close - Houthis are conveying these illusions to their followers.

Alimi explained that Hadi is in good health and follows up on a daily basis all the actions of the state and the battle-fronts, affirming that there is no validity of the lies echoed by some parties.

Notably, rumors circulated on social media during the past days that Hadi’s health has deteriorated.

Yemeni Government sources told Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper that they expect Hadi to appear soon in a televised speech to assure people regarding his health.
