Exchanged Gulf, Arab Political Letters

Monday witnessed exchanged Gulf and Arab letters among officials and senior figures.

Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah has received an invitation from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to attend the Second Edition of the World Youth Forum (WYF) in Sharm El Sheikh in November.

The invitation was delivered Monday by Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Tarek el-Qouni to Emiri Diwan Affairs Minister Sheikh Jarrah al Sabah.

He also received at Seif Palace Secretary-General of the Libyan National Army (LNA) Abdulkareem Hadiya, who delivered a letter to the Emir from the LNA General Commander Khalifa Haftar, on bilateral ties, regional and international issues.

On the other hand, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai received, for his part, a letter from Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber al-Mubarak al-Hamad al-Sabah on the brotherly bilateral relations.

Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the letter during a meeting with Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf, Kuwait’s Minister of Finance, who conveyed the greetings of the Emir of Kuwait.

Sheikh Maktoum and Dr. Hajraf discussed means of enhancing cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields.

While Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received Monday Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the crown prince, deputy supreme commander and first deputy prime minister of Bahrain.

They tackled prospects of strengthening the brotherly and historical relations between the two countries by fostering fruitful cooperation across all domains on the basis of mutual understanding and joint work.
