Are Saudis Dreaming?!

Growing unprecedentedly, patriotism has been an exceptional highlight for Saudis celebrating their 88th independence day. Awe comes across when seeing deep-rooted nationalism being positively integrated with action. Saudi youth, making for 70 percent of the population, fully understands that pride unaccompanied with action is futile.

The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is not only going through change on a surface level, but is experiencing a true shift from a past embedded with slow-pace traditional means for change, to a soaring dynamic that overcomes obstacles and lands safely at its destination—becoming a more prosperous country that offers affluence to citizens and residents.

The dream is not short to prosperity, but also visualizes a Saudi Arabia brutally fearless and decisive in the face of its adversaries, tolerant with its friends, and unmatched in its support for its allies. And sees to transforming citizens from a distant observer into engaged partakers in any success.

A fundamental condition for reform is the people's will for change, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman once said.

On September 23, the kingdom’s National Day, Saudis echoed that remark by bringing unconstrained and relentless enthusiasm for pursuing their goals and the kingdom of their dreams.

It is not an exaggeration to say that Saudi Arabia is experiencing a historic leap. Compared to the contemporary history of its regional neighbors, the kingdom is defying the trend of slow development of giant projects.

Time does not wait for today’s Saudi Arabia. Megaprojects such as Neom city, the Saudi Red Sea tourist attraction, Al-Qiddiya’s futuristic city, and the world’s largest solar power plant are not a benchmark, but only the start.

With larger-than-life dreams, aspirations and hard work, Saudis are catapulting their way into the future, and not wasting time to look back.

Is it a walk in the park?! No.

But so is the nature of major reforms, they are a road paved with obstacles. Not to mention the fact that Saudi Arabia is also fighting political, economic and social battles.

The Kingdom’s enemies are well-known and exposed in broad daylight, making the road to success easier.

“If the Saudi people are convinced, the sky is the limit,” said Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

And indeed, Saudis are rising to the occasion with a will to accomplish dreams into reality-- they do not accept anything less.

In a few years, when the Saudi dream is materialized, the world will stand witness to iron-willed Saudis accomplishing such a stunning dream of utopic proportions.

Side by side, Saudis are working to achieve their nationwide project. Their incremental efforts may go unnoticed, but success is one great buildup of thousands of normal efforts.

Are Saudis dreaming?! Only because they are confident in their ability to make their dreams a reality.
