Kuwaiti-Jordanian Summit to Discuss Regional Developments

Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah and King Abdullah II of Jordan discussed Tuesday a number of issues and the latest developments on the regional and international levels.

The meeting, which was held in Dasman Palace, also tackled boosting bilateral relations in all fields “to serve their common interests and promote joint Arab action and the importance of coordination between the two countries on various issues of common concern."

Sheikh Sabah received the Jordanian King and his accompanying delegation in the presence of Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.

The meeting was also attended by National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali al-Ghanim, Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber al-Mubarak al-Ahmad al-Sabah and other senior officials.

Later that day, the King left Kuwait heading to Jordan, and he was accompanied in the airport by the Kuwait crown prince, the prime minister and a number of senior officials.
