King of Bahrain Sends Oral Message to Egypt’s Sisi

King of Bahrain Hamad bin Issa al-Khalifa sent on Thursday an oral message to Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi on bolstering bilateral ties.

The message was delivered by Bahrain Foreign Minister Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Khalifa, who met with Sisi in Cairo.

Sisi relayed his greetings to the Bahraini King, thanking him for the Kingdom’s support for Egypt.

The message tackled the latest regional developments and ways to overcome all challenges.

King Hamad also expressed his gratitude to Egypt in its role in bolstering security and peace in the region, highlighting its efforts to combat terrorism in all of its forms and to thwart foreign meddling in Arab affairs.

The Bahraini minister also hailed the positive results of the recent visit by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Egypt.

He said that it reflected the strength of ties between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, a bond which acts as the backbone for Arab national security.
