King Salman Reiterates Saudi Support to Iraq’s Unity

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has telephoned Iraqi Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.

During the phone conversation, the King renewed the Kingdom's support for Iraq's unity, development and stability and the need for all to adhere to the Iraqi constitution for the benefit of Iraq and its people, SPA said.

The King stressed that relations between the two countries and their peoples are strong, it added.

For his part, the Iraqi Prime Minister stressed the importance of ties and further cooperation between the two countries.

Also Monday, King Salman received at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh the credentials of ambassadors of sisterly and friendly countries accredited to the Kingdom.
