Saudi Arabia stressed on Tuesday the Arab Coalition’s goal to restore security and stability in Yemen, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Saudi government hailed the various parties in the Yemeni city of Aden for committing to the Coalition call for calm.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz chaired the cabinet session that was held in Riyadh.

The ministers also underlined the Coalition’s commitment to preserving the unity of the Yemeni state, as well as regional and international peace and security, Information Minister Dr. Awad bin Saleh al-Awad told SPA.

The cabinet also reviewed various regional, Arab and international developments.

It praised the recent efforts exerted by the Arab League council to address the United States’ recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

In addition, Saudi Arabia expressed its condemnation of a terrorist bombing that targeted the Turkish capital Ankara last week, saying that the Kingdom rejects all forms of terrorism.
