Saudi Arabia on Friday described as "baseless" a Turkish magazine report under the headline “Turkey has stopped the coup in Qatar.”
The Saudi Embassy in Ankara dismissed the report that the Kingdom had sought to stage a coup in a country with which it has previously announced a cut in relations since last July.
“These are baseless allegations,” the embassy said in a statement.
The mission urged the media to resort to accurate and credible reporting, saying it reserves itself the right to respond and take the appropriate legal measures.
